Are you ready for the new quarter? Our ESL classes will start again on Monday, October 5th, and with a new quarter comes some new announcements for all our students.
This past Friday, we had our upcoming students take their placement tests. All of our students must take a placement test so we can place them in the appropriate class for their level. This is how we determine students’ reading, listening, and speaking skill levels. Then at the end of the quarter, students will retake the test to see how you have improved. The placement test is the last step before joining our ESL program.
Now that students have finished testing, it is time to get ready for the upcoming quarter! Our ESL classes will continue to be held Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. However, there will be some changes to our upcoming quarter.
When entering our facility, students will need to wear a face mask, as well as our teachers. We care about the safety of our students and teachers, so there will be no exceptions to wearing a face mask. We will also make sure that students are following social distancing guidelines on campus.
In addition, starting October, we will begin using our new edition textbooks! The new textbooks are more relevant to times today. This is good for students to learn more about the culture that is relevant today.
