What Our Students Are Thankful for

We are so excited for Thanksgiving this week! Thanksgiving is the holiday where families get together to enjoy a delicious feast and appreciate all the blessings they have in their lives. There are games to play, parades to watch, and plenty to be thankful for. Before eating dinner, it is traditional for everyone at the table to say what they are most thankful for over the past year. So in honor of Thanksgiving, we thought we would share a few things that our students and staff are thankful for this year.

The most important thing that we are thankful for is our health. It is so important now more than ever for us to take care of ourselves and our family around us. Always be sure to wear a mask when going outside and continue to maintain social distancing. Social distancing means staying 6 feet apart from others. We want to keep ourselves and our family safe during this stressful time.

Another thing we are thankful for is our family. Family is the most important thing. We need our family to love, support, and encourage us. We are very thankful for all of the memories we have had with our family and the future stories that await us. Thanksgiving is traditionally a huge delicious feast with all of your family sitting together and saying what they are thankful for. This year may be a little different because of COVID, but Thanksgiving can still be about family. We suggest getting together in small groups or if you have a big family, you can eat together virtually.

Lastly, our students are thankful for their new friends that they made here. At American English Language School, our small class sizes are a great way for you to get to know your classmates personally. Instead of just listening to the teacher talk, you are able to talk with your classmates and form great bonds while learning and experiencing new things together.

Happy Thanksgiving from American English Language School! We are thankful for all of our students and for having the opportunity to help them achieve their English learning goals.
