How To Transfer

Thank you for your interest in American English Language School! Our step-by-step enrollment process is described below.

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry Form

Fill out and submit our Inquiry Form (make sure to provide us with the most relevant and accurate information).

Step 2: Email Confirmation of Inquiry Form

After you submit your inquiry form, you will receive an email. The email will confirm your submission and provide you with an application form.

Step 3: Complete Application Form

  1. Please complete your application form.
  2. Please submit the following documents to addmission@aels.edu:
    • an AELS application form
    • a copy of your current passport
    • a copy of your current I-20 form
    • a copy of your current visa
    • a high school diploma or college transcripts translated into English
    • a bank statement within 6 months

Step 4: Invoice and Processing Fees

  1. After submitting all six documents (an AELS application form, a copy of your current passport, a copy of your current I-20 form, a copy of your current visa, a high school diploma or college transcripts translated into English, and a bank statement within 6 months), you will receive an email that will contain your invoice.
  2. You will be sent a link to pay your invoice by credit card. Click the "Make a Payment" link to input your credit card information.

Step 5: Receive your acceptance letter and I-20 form

After you have paid your processing fees, you will receive your transfer acceptance letter with your course start date. You will need to give your transfer acceptance letter to your international student advisor at your current school in order for your school to release your SEVIS record. After your record is released, we will issue your new I-20 form.

STEP 5: Receive your I-20 form and transfer acceptance letter

After you have paid your processing fees, expect to receive your I-20 form and transfer acceptance letter within one week. You will need to give your transfer acceptance letter to your international student advisory at your current school.
